activities that they use as well as answer questions.The panel will include the following

- Joe Dyer; word processing
- Jim Shively; client newsletters
- Graham Wallace; word processing
The recent member survey indicated a strong interest in this type of program and I hope that this
program will be successful. |

COMPUSIR member Jim Campbell, a Microsoft beta tester, will discuss
Microsoft's soon-to-be released Windows XP, the first consumer oriented
version of the Windows NT platform. XP has many enhancements over the
previous versions of Windows.

Hiller Aviation Museum tour - Canceled due to insufficient interest.

Our meeting on 11 July 2001 will be a visit to the Hiller Aviation
Museum at San Carlos airport adjacent to the 101 freeway. The exit to take is
Holly street. We will have lunch at the Elks Lodge as usual at 11:30am and
leave in time to arrive at the museum for the 1:30 pm tour The cost for
retired duffers like us is a mere $4 per person. The tour is guided and takes
about an hour. We must have at least 15 attendees to qualify for the tour. |

The PC group will meet as usual at the Elks Lodge for lunch at
11:30am. Our presentation will be on the subject of digital photography and
will take place at the conference room of KEEBLE & SCHUCHAT's main store, 290
California Ave, Palo Alto.( North Side of the street). The presentation is
scheduled for 1:30 pm . Parking is sometimes tight, but there's a large
parking area (free) south of Calif Ave, behind the row of stores on Calif
Ave.We should leave not later than 1:15pm to be timely at the presentation.
This promises to be an exciting event hosted by the premier
photography supply house in our area. Come and hear all you ever wanted to
know about digital photography. The speaker will be Tom Tworek.

Moffet Field docent

PC group will visit the computer history museum at Moffett Field on
11 April.
Our reservation is for 1:15 pm; however we must submit a list of all
attendees 24 hrs in advance since Moffett is a federal facility and
citizenship is required. The museum tour will be guided by a docent who will
be able to answer questions. Samples of very early computers are viewable and
this should be quite an interesting tour. We will meet at 11:30am for lunch
at the Elks Lodge and head to the Moffett field at approx 12:45.
Again,because reservations must be submitted 24 hours in advance,

to be included. The cutoff time will be noon on Tuesday April 10. Do not

of Intel Corp is the son of Ray Odell, Compusir member. Ted is familiar to
members of Compusir, having spoken to us about 2 1/2 years ago. Ted will
provide an overview of the newest Intel products and their performance. |
